Tampa Doctor Still Seeing Patients After Sexually Inappropriate Behavior

In 2010, a Tampa doctor who specializes in internal medicine, admits he propositioned a patient for oral sex and then exposed himself to that patient.  The patient reported this to the Tampa police and the doctor was charged with exposing his sexual organ.  The charges were dropped when the doctor completed a program for first time offenders.

The Florida Department of Health launched its own investigation a short time after the criminal charges were dropped. The doctor was charged by Administrative Complaint, with several counts of sexual misconduct with a patient.

The doctor has not been disciplined by the state nearly four years later. There were several agreements drafted, but then were rejected by the doctor or The Florida Board of Medicine.  The Board must approve any settlement.

There are some Board Members who are clearly concerned that the doctor is still seeing his female patients, although there is a chaperone in the room. His license is currently listed as clear and active with no discipline on his file.

Remember, your license is your livelihood.
